Honors

Sylvia and Jim are the epitome of Stories Love Music. They had been married for 68 years before Sylvia passed away in 2022 and their love, respect and care for one another were always evident to everyone who knew them. Jim loves music and Sylvia storytelling in the form of memoir writing and reading as well as being an accomplished artist. They were both proud and supportive of each other. I was fortunate to get to know both Sylvia and Jim over the past five years through clubs and committees in the Parke at Ocean Pines. They participated in social activities and freely shared their talents with the Parke community in many ways. I want to honor Sylvia’s memory as she is greatly missed by the Parke creative community as well as to acknowledge Jim’s thoughtful and respectful caregiving to his beautiful wife.
