is a free program to caregivers of senior citizens with dementia and Alzheimers.
Founded in 2017, Stories Love Music has improved the care and support of senior citizens through its program, The Joy of Creative Engagement for Caregivers they provide to both professional and family caregivers.
Stories Love Music celebrates both music and story telling traditions in our history and their positive effects on emotional and physical health of our seniors and their caregivers.
Senior citizens with dementia and Alzheimer’s feel disconnected from the world around them. When we are isolated we wonder does anyone want to hear our stories? Music speaks right to our heart and our human experience. We all have stories to tell and music brings them to light. This is also true for CAREGIVERS, which is why Stories Love Music developed a program just for caregivers, The Joy of Creative Engagement for Caregivers.
Program Objectives
Support caregivers in managing the reactive emotions of the seniors they care for and themselves.
Provide caregivers tools for their own self-care and their caregiving which prevents long term burnout.

Learn how to bring the Stories Love Music program to your loved one.
Stories Love Music created “The Joy of Creative Engagement for Caregivers”, a program for professional and family caregivers who care for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s. This program has also been utilized by recreational directors, nurses, home health aides, and all those who work with elder communities.
Through donations and grants to Stories Love Music, the caregivers receive a free program that focuses on: How to treat their burnout and stress, How to apply creative tools to their caregiving day. The program blends music and story telling, sparking the imagination and bringing us more fully into the present moment.
