Sometimes we can feel disconnected to the world around us. We may wonder, are we being seen and heard? Does anyone want to hear our stories?
Both MUSIC and STORY TELLING, are spiritual traditions, and together can kindle the spirit, and take us on a journey through memories. It can bring us into a deeper presence with our SELF and more fully into the PRESENT moment.

Our program won it's second grant this month, from the MAC Center (Maintaining Active Citizens); which allowed us to continue to bring this program out on a National level, to groups of Care Givers in Maryland. Read my blog for more details.
Synopsis of Evaluations from grant funded Stories Love Music sessions for Care Professionals.
"Ilyana has a powerful way of engaging the care givers and other attendees to relax and reduce their stress. She underscores well the importance of music and story telling as another positive approach to engaging people and the challenges they face as they age. Great alternative method to connect meaningfully with memory impaired individuals, no special equipment needed to implement. I got a new understanding of making connections and communicating. I would like more caregivers to be able to experience the power of this for themselves and their loved ones."- (Participants from Maryland)
